What changed
EASA AD 2021-0081 supersedes the previous AD 2020-0047 and introduces new and/or more restrictive maintenance tasks and life limits as specified in the latest revision of the Irkut RRJ-95B Maintenance Manual ALS. It requires operators to replace components before exceeding updated life limits and to perform maintenance tasks within revised thresholds and intervals.
Why it matters
This AD is critical for aviation professionals as it ensures the safe operation of RRJ-95B aeroplanes by enforcing updated mandatory maintenance requirements. Operators, maintenance organizations, and compliance teams must adhere to these changes to prevent unsafe conditions and maintain regulatory compliance under EU regulations.
