Summary

The document titled Hawker Beechcraft - Global AMOC for FAA AD 89-25-08 & AD 89-25-10 is a Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin (SAIB) issued by the FAA. It provides information on how to obtain a global Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) for FAA Airworthiness Directives 89-25-08 and 89-25-10, which affect Hawker Beechcraft aircraft wing inspections. The AMOC allows compliance using the current revision of the Hawker Beechcraft Structural Inspection and Repair Manual (SIRM) 98-39006.

What changed

This SAIB revises previous information by correcting the contact details for obtaining the global AMOC. It informs stakeholders that the Wichita Aircraft Certification Office has approved a global AMOC to use the latest revision of the SIRM 98-39006 for compliance with the two ADs. The bulletin does not introduce new requirements but clarifies how to access the AMOC.

Why it matters

This information is important for operators, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities, and compliance teams because it streamlines the process of meeting inspection requirements for affected Hawker Beechcraft aircraft. Using the global AMOC ensures that inspections align with the most current structural repair standards, improving safety and regulatory compliance. It also reduces administrative burden by providing a universal compliance method.
