The Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) Airworthiness Directives D-2007-350 and D-2007-353 address safety issues for the RUAG Aerospace GmbH Dornier 228 series aircraft. AD D-2007-350 concerns partial de-bonding of surface protection on rudders and elevators due to an unapproved paint stripping process. AD D-2007-353 deals with cracks in rudder control cable terminals caused by production errors in cables delivered after January 1, 2006.
