EASA Regulations for Mitsubishi MU-2B-30

AFM Limitations Change - Pilot Training - Icing Conditions

Japan Civil Aviation Bureau Airworthiness Directive No. TCD-4753B-2020 mandates new pilot training requirements for Mitsubishi Model MU-2B and MU-2B-30 series airplanes when operating in known or forecast icing conditions. This directive updates the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) Limitations Section to require pilots-in-command to have completed specific Mitsubishi Icing Awareness Training. The directive aims to enhance flight safety by reducing icing-related incidents caused by pilot error.
