EASA Regulations for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Bombardier CRJ

Equipment / Furnishings — Overhead Storage Compartments — Improvement of the Overhead Bin Harnesses over the Class Divider

The Canadian Airworthiness Directive CF-2023-79 addresses the improvement of overhead bin harnesses above class dividers on Mitsubishi Heavy Industries RJ Aviation ULC aircraft, specifically Bombardier CRJ models CL-600-2C10, CL-600-2D15, and CL-600-2D24 with specified serial numbers. It mandates inspections and modifications to prevent electrical harness damage in overhead storage compartments that could affect critical passenger systems. This directive updates and revises the applicability of the previous directive CF-2023-56.
