WITHDRAWN - AmSafe Restraint Systems - Jammed Connector in a Rotary Buckle
EASA Safety Information Bulletin 2011-19 is an informational bulletin addressing a reported issue with the AmSafe Restraint Systems rotary buckle, part number 504928-405, used in various AmSafe restraint system part numbers installed on helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. The bulletin highlights a case where a passenger could not release the pelvic connector on an AS.365 N3 Dauphin helicopter during a non-emergency landing. Although the cause of the jammed connector has not been determined, EASA does not consider this an unsafe condition requiring an Airworthiness Directive.
