WITHDRAWN - REPLACED BY EASA AD 2021-0195

EASA Safety Information Bulletin 2013-23 is an informational document addressing uncommanded engine power loss, rotor speed fluctuations, or in-flight shutdown caused by Electronic Engine Control Unit (EECU) failure in Turboméca ARRRIEL 2D engines. These engines are installed on helicopters such as the Eurocopter AS 350 B3 and EC 130 T2. The bulletin describes the failure mode involving a tantalum capacitor short-circuit leading to fuel flow regulation loss and provides safety information for operators.
