EASA Airworthiness Directive 2020-0228 is a corrective directive addressing turbocharger hose replacement on certain Cessna F172 and Piper PA-28 aircraft equipped with Continental Aerospace Technologies TAE 125-02 diesel engines. The directive targets turbocharger hoses with part number TAE EPA 40-7520-H0131 01 from a specific defective batch that may fail and cause significant engine power loss. It applies to aircraft with engines installed via EASA Supplemental Type Certificates 10014287 and 10014364.
