Bombardier (formerly Canadair) - Core Cowl Stay Support Strut/Rod

Transport Canada Service Difficulty Advisory AV-2010-04 addresses a potential issue with the engine core cowl stay support strut/rod on Bombardier Regional Jet Series (CL-600-2B19) and Challenger 600 (CL-600-2A12/2B16) aircraft equipped with CF34-1 and CF34-3 engines. The advisory highlights the risk of in-flight engine shutdowns caused by incorrect stowage of the upper core cowl door stay support strut/rod, which can interfere with the throttle control mechanism.
