EASA Regulations for Bombardier Challenger 600-2B16

Flight Controls – Uncommanded Flap Extension

Canadian Airworthiness Directive CF-2023-07 addresses an uncommanded flap extension issue affecting Bombardier Inc. CL-600-1A11, CL-600-2A12, and CL-600-2B16 aircraft across all serial numbers. The directive mandates operational testing of the flap control system to verify the functionality of retract relays following an incident involving unexpected flap movement during climb. This AD aims to ensure continued safe operation of these Challenger series aircraft.
