Engine — Module 02 / Gas Generator — Service Life Calculation / Replacement

EASA Airworthiness Directive 2019-0266-E is an emergency directive addressing Safran Helicopter Engines ARRIUS 1A and 1A1 engines installed on helicopters such as the Airbus Helicopters AS355 N and AS355 NP. It mandates recalculating the service life of the gas generator module M02 due to a manufacturing non-conformity affecting high-pressure turbine blades and discs. The directive ensures continued airworthiness by requiring replacement of affected parts based on recalculated service life limits.
