ANJOU AERONAUTIQUE — Restraint Systems Rotary Buckle Sub Assembly — Removal from Service

EASA Airworthiness Directive 2018-0195 addresses the removal from service of certain Anjou Aeronautique model 358 torso restraint systems installed on helicopters including Airbus Helicopters AS 350 B2, AS 350 B3, and EC130 T2. The directive identifies a safety issue involving the rupture of the rotary buckle sub-assembly, which may prevent proper release of restraint straps during emergency situations.
